Worle Community School in Weston-super-Mare provides education to more than 1,400 students aged 11 to 16. Its ethos is “nothing but the best” and this cuts across all lessons and extra-curricular activities including its sports provision, which is a big part of what the school offers.
Recently, as part of an ongoing programme of improvements, local contractor Waterhouse Electrical was asked to recommend a lighting solution that provided better quality lighting, used less energy and utilised cost-effective products to replace the compact fluorescent low bay fittings in the school’s sports hall and gym.
Waterhouse’s Electrical Manager Phil Ainsworth recommended NVC Lighting’s Oregon IK09, IP20 rated industrial luminaire fitted with protective wire guards because he has worked with people from NVC for several years and relies on their products for larger projects.
Phil says: “Whenever I am working on projects of this size, I turn to NVC Lighting for both their lighting design expertise and their products which consistently provide an unrivalled combination of high quality and low price.”
