St George's School Gravesend

St George’s School in Gravesend, Kent has over 1100 pupils aged from 4 to 18. The school has been through a significant development programme to upgrade its facilities

The school’s improvement works were procured through the DfE Construction Framework as part of DfE’s Priority School Building Programme (PSBP) with Kier as the main contractor who contracted Integra Buildings, a leading UK manufacturer of innovative, bespoke modular buildings to construct the toilet, kitchen facilities and 32 new classrooms facilities off-site.

Lighting conducive to offering the best learning environment was a key consideration. N&P, a successful, growing electrical building services contractor that is based in Hull and provides a range of electrical services to public and private sector clients across the UK was chosen to select and install an appropriate lighting scheme.

N&P installed light fittings from NVC Lighting including STERLING and FULTON  edge lit, LED recessed modular panels and WISCONSIN recessed LED circular luminaires.

N&P Director Paul Gray said: “We switched from another supplier to NVC some time ago because we receive better support and their products deliver the same performance at better value.”
