Believe housing is one of the largest housing associations in the north east of England. Prior to its area office moving to Bishop Auckland, the premises on Wear Valley business park were given a £2m refit that included installation of NVC task lighting throughout.
Electrical and security specialist Dalec had worked with NVC on many projects previously and specified almost 600 NVC Sterling LED IP44, TP(a) rated, edge lit, LED recessed modular panels for believe housing. We were able to meet the of requirement of the Tp(a) specification of Part B of the Building Regulations with our Sterling LED panel, which provides the optimum safety for thermo plastics where in the event of exposure to fire it self-extinguishes in less than 5 secs.
