Casambi grew out of Nokia (where
Bluetooth was invented) in 2011.
CASAMBI uses Bluetooth radio but has built its own
mesh technology and lighing control protocols on
top of that, so it has a proprietary architecture.
However, CASAMBI has shared its software platform
so widely that there is now a rich ecosystem of
suppliers, all providing CASAMBI compatible devices,
including drivers, sensors, dimmers, LCMs, switches
and more.
