Hereford Cathedral School is an independent, co-educational day and boarding school for pupils of ages 3 to 18 years, from Nursery to Sixth Form.
The school’s existence remarkably dates back to 1384. With the last renovation dating back to 1875, there is a clear deep-rooted reverence for tradition.
As an institution with a clear traditional aesthetic, it was important for NVC Lighting to work with Hereford Cathedral School to provide the correct LED luminaires that matched the aesthetic while being energy efficient.
Our robust Yale, surface mount, LED fitting has a nostalgic exterior and provided great even lighting within classrooms. As well as being an aesthetic match, the luminaire boasts both an IP40 and IK10 rating meaning it is both secure and strong.
Their corridors were lit with our compact, Paxford LED bulkhead, which are fitted with our ENEC approved LED drivers. The combination of both LED luminaires has established a visually uniform look as well as a cost-effective, long term solution.
